Q&A for Translators

I am a translator. How do I sign up?

If you are a licensed translator in the US, AND you are of Iranian descent,

or friendly towards Iranians, you may sign up for free on this website, upon our

approval of your request. We, however, reserve the right to refuse any listing

without offering any explanation.

What steps do I need to take to try to get on the directory?

Just fill out the “Get Listed” form with information about your name, your

telephone number, your website, and maybe a picture and we'll take care of it.

Do I have to be able to speak Farsi in order to be listed?

No. It would help many of your potentials clients to be able to communicate

with you, but it is not a necessary factor in listing.

I don’t have a picture. Can I still sign up without one?

If you don’t have a picture, or do not want to use your picture, you may

still sign up.

I don’t have a picture available now. Can I e-mail one to you later?

Yes. You may email a picture to us at any time. Just make sure you give us

your name when you send the picture so we know who you are.

Do I have to give a discount to anyone who found me through this website?

No, you don’t have to. It’s your option.

I work in an office, so I do not have my own website yet. Can I use my

work’s website?

Yes, but if you prefer not to use a website in your ad, by all means skip

that step.

I am licensed in more than one state. Can I sign up for multiple listings?

Yes.

I am still confused about this process. Is there a number that I can call?

Yes. It is: 1(877)385-6117

Q&A for Consumers

I live in the United States, and I am looking for a translator, preferably an

Iranian one. You know anyone?

You have come to the right place.

Do I get a discount from all translators on this site?

Some translators have chosen to give a discount to clients that reach them

through us. Some have not.

Which translators do you endorse from this site?

We do not endorse translators. We merely provide a venue for the public to

find out about practitioners in the area. Choosing a translator is an important

decision that requires careful research and planning.
